Pre-kiddos I was a backpacking guide in California, USA and a volunteer on my local search and rescue team. When my first daughter was born, I put those parts of my life on hold. We went on a handful of adventures, but it just didn’t seem like something you did with a baby. As she turned 2 I found my longing to get back out there growing strong.
